About the Item
Vintage 1970s gold pendant brooch crafted from a polished chalcedony cabochon set in a stunning bright yellow 9ct gold mount adorned with pearls. A central solid gold element with three floral parts, the intricate openwork frame of the gold mount showcases a floral design with intricate rococo detailing.
This Victorian style brooch pendant embodies a theme of love with its incorporation of pearls. The back of the brooch is hallmarked indicating the piece was marked in London 1975 with the maker's mark TAR. The piece is hallmarked 9ct gold although it tests 14ct gold.
