A vintage 9 karat yellow gold glass globe charm pendant. The charm is beautifully detailed with a spinning glass globe with a prism of light.
A prism is a clear, triangular device made up of plastic or glass (or any transparent material). When white light goes through a prism, the light bends due to the phenomenon called refraction. Refraction is the process of bending light as light goes from one medium (like air) to another medium (like water or glass).

The charm is in very good condition and of high quality. Hallmarks are present and visible on the side of the charm - 9.375 for 9k gold and makers mark. The charm comes without the chain.
