About the Item
This is a 9 karat yellow gold vintage thimble charm pendant. The cute gold finger covering has beautiful pitting details throughout the cup.
A thimble is a small pitted cup that can be slipped over the fingertip. It serves to protect the fingertip when working with needles during sewing or handicrafts. It makes it easier to push the needle through the fabric or leather and protects the skin of the finger.
Charms are great to collect as wearable memories, it has a symbolic and often a sentimental value. This vintage charm can be added to your necklace, charm bracelet or layered with your other favorites.
The charm is in very good condition and of high quality. It measures 1.9 cm in length including bail and 1.1 cm wide. Hallmarks are present and visible on the side of the thimble. The weight of the thimble is 1.34 grams.
Most of our charms come with an open jump ring, which is used to attach them to a bracelet or necklace. We recommend this ring to be closed professionally by soldering them together before wearing - this can be done by your local jeweler.
The charm will be gift-wrapped in a black and gold jewelry box.
