About the Item
Elaborate vintage Art Deco era medallion (circa 1927) crafted in 9 karat yellow gold.
The beautifully detailed medallion dates to 1927, designed with a golf motif. Medallions were popular around the 1900s along with watch chains and fobs. The medallion/pendant is in very good condition with patina evident. Great for wear on a chain with a larger 5mm bale that can accommodate a thicker chain if desired.
We have not cleaned the piece in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Measurements: The pendant measures 1 inch diameter (1 1/4 inch in length including the bale).
Metal
Hallmark: 9 karat yellow gold. The pendant is hallmarked with the Makers Mark "HB&S" followed by "9" and "375" for 9k gold followed by the Mark of Origin for Birmingham (anchor on its side). The final hallmark is the Date Letter sequence for the year of production (1927 - letter C)
