A Vintage Hattie Carnegie Egyptian Necklace. A chunky book chain decorated with elongated pearl stations leads to a dramatic Egyptian Revival style pendant. The pendant boasting a combination of lustrous gold, enamel and pearls with their intricate palm-inspired caps makes for a striking and chic adornment. One that will turn heads and prove a unique style statement.
When Hattie Carnegie left Austria as a teenager and headed to New York with her family, her future was unknown. With a now remarkable life story, Hattie Carnegie is one of fashions most impressive entrepreneurs. Beginning her own business in 1909, it is incredible to consider that by 1940 she owned a multimillion-dollar business and was one of the most successful American Fashion Houses of the time. Her jewellery played an integral part in her head-to-toe collections, and her stylish designs successfully stand the test of time.
Vintage Condition: Very good without damage or noteworthy wear.
Materials: Gold plated metal, glass simulated pearl, enamel
Signed: Unsigned - a well documented Carnegie design which most likely would have carried a paper hang-tag when retailed.
