About the Item
This colorful floral pendant was originally a vintage brooch (circa 1940–1950), thoughtfully transformed with the removal of the pin findings and the addition of a 14k gold bail. The jewel features a reverse painted crystal depicting trumpet-shaped bluebell flowers, their delicate forms captured with vibrant, lifelike detail against the luminous backdrop. Set in 14k gold, the piece reflects the mid-20th-century fascination with nature-inspired motifs and miniature artistry.
The pendant measures 1.35 inches from the top of the bail to the base by 1.05 inches across and remains in excellent condition. It is offered with the 16-inch 14k gold chain shown in the photographs. The gold content has been verified through XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring purity and authenticity.
