About the Item
Modeled after one of the iconic rose windows of Notre Dame Cathedral, this luminous vintage pendant dates to the 1960s–1970s. The delicate rose window design is rendered in vibrant plique-à-jour enamel and framed in rich 18k gold. Like miniature stained glass, the translucent enamel captures and filters light beautifully, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of mid-century enamel artistry.
The pendant measures approximately 1 inch from the top of the jump ring to the bottom and 0.7 inches wide, with a total weight of 1.32 grams.
The gold has been professionally verified by XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed through jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating its 18k composition. The piece is in good condition with some light chipping to the enamel near the bail on one side of the piece.
