About the Item
A beautiful preloved large 18 karat yellow gold Venetian Etruscan Revival fob locket pendant. The pendant is set with three red translucent faceted oval garnet gemstones. The garnets are bezel set and the gold surface is decorated with cannetille, rope motifs, rosettes and wirework. The bottom of the pendant can be opened where you can find a hidden compartment. The locket opens and closes very well. The pendant comes without the chain.
Garnet is considered a lucky stone, for love, success, and for business relationships. It helps you let go of old behavior patterns and boosts self-confidence. Garnet balances energy, bringing serenity or passion as appropriate, and can inspire love.
More than enough by itself, this can also be layered with other charms or pendants or even suspended from a chunky bracelet. The charm is in very good condition and of high quality. The charm measures 35 mm in length including bail, width 22 mm and weighs 19 grams. The garnets on the sides measure 10 mm in length and width 8 mm. The garnet at the bottom measures 15 mm in length and width 10 mm. Unmarked. The gold is tested as 18 karat.
Most of our charms come with an open jump ring, which is used to attach them to a bracelet or necklace. We recommend this ring to be closed professionally by soldering them together before wearing - this can be done by your local jeweler.
