About the Item
A finely carved white and russet jade pendant depicting a goose turning its head back, holding a lingzhi fungus in its beak. The goose’s body is detailed with meticulously incised feathers, while the reverse side features natural russet "skin" of the jade, cleverly incorporated into the plumage carving. Lingzhi and goose motifs were popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties, symbolizing longevity, prosperity, and good fortune. The harmonious use of white and russet tones enhances its aesthetic appeal.
