A masterstroke in traditional Indian craftsmanship, this opulent Navratna necklace showcases the regal grandeur of Mughal-era jewellery reinterpreted for the modern connoisseur. Handcrafted in pure 22K gold, the necklace is strung with lustrous South Sea pearls, each flanking a remarkable centrepiece: nine specially carved tiger claw-shaped gemstones (Sher Nakhun) representing the sacred Navratnas — ruby, emerald, yellow sapphire, blue sapphire, coral, cat’s eye, hessonite, rock crystal, and pearl.
Each Sher Nakhun gemstone is crowned with a hand-enamelled Meenakari gold cap, studded with natural flat uncut diamond polkis of top quality, reflecting the age-old Kundan Meena technique practiced by master artisans of Jaipur. Set with natural uncut diamond Polkis, the necklace’s detailing evokes royal heirlooms once worn in princely courts of Rajasthan.
The reverse of the necklace reveals intricate enamel work — a secret only the wearer knows — a signature feature in high jewellery from India and a collector’s favourite across Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
A powerful blend of spiritual symbolism, rare gemology, and artisanal heritage, this necklace is ideal for ceremonial wear, bridal occasions, or collectors seeking authentic Indian Polki jewellery with a story.
The necklace contains nearly 35gms of gold and 3.88 cts of natural uncut diamonds along with 249cts and above carved natural gemstones.
The necklace is strung at the end with an adjustable thread, which can be used to customise the length of the necklace as per the person's choice.
