About the Item
Early CoCo Chanel sautoir fabricated by Robert Goossens of Renaissance inspiration, composed of deep ruby pate de verre beads flanked by rondelles of crystal brilliants and small faux pearls. There are gilt filigree lantern shaped stations in two sizes, which are also adorned with additional pastes, ruby pate de verre beads and pearls.
These twelve stations are all dispersed between sections of oval link bronze chain.
Excellent Condition. Unsigned. 1950's France.
