About the Item
This delicate snuffbox has been made out of pressed horn and is covered entirely in blue and white glass beads threaded on cotton string. The lid is decorated with a sun emblem, a lozenge and a zigzag pattern and the French words DON DAMITIE, gift of friendship.
The beadwork is in truly superb condition.
