Vintage Waltrous sterling silver and 14K yellow gold inlaid cigarette case.
Waltrous began their sterling line in the 1920s in Wallingford, CT. Hammered design featuring yellow gold inlaid stripes. Case has a spring holder on one side. Monogram appears to be HBR.
Measures 4 1/8"" wide, 3 1/4"" high when closed.
Weighs 131.6g, 84.6dwt.
Marked: CW (Waltrous makers mark) STERLING 14K INLAID 468
Very nice condition, with some tarnish and discoloration marks, surface scratching and a small dent on back of case.
