About the Item
La Nouvelle Bague Metropolitan inkwell in 925/ooo yellow gold-plated sterling silver and ebony base, fire enamel details. Included is 925/ooo sterling silver, 18k gold, fire enamel and 14k gold nib. The inkwell consists of two containers, one with an inner glass casing for ink and another to hold small desk accessories: pins, paper clips, rubber bands etc.
The dimensions of the ebony base of the inkwell are cm (22.5 x 9) and the length of the fountain pen is cm 17.5.
Everything comes with its own wooden box, original historical warranty and a single leather fountain pen box.
The inkwell and pen are new and in exceptional condition.
La Nouvelle Bague's Metropolitan inkwell first appeared in the collection of the historic Italian maison in Florence in late 1990 as reported in the bimonthly industrial information magazine "Momenti Nouvelle Bague." The following year, the specially designed capless fountain pen was introduced.
