About the Item

A Stockert-pattern fruitwood diptych sundial, the lid with applied paper list of towns and cities and their latitudes (mostly rubbed off), the inside of the lid with string gnomon and nine settings for latitudes 40-56°, with hour dial graduated VII-XII, I-V and wheat ear decoration at the bottom, with decorative border, the base with glazed compass with blued-steel needle with brass cap, the surrounding paper graduated with hours twice and variously decorated. Size: Height: 1.6 cm Width: 6,5 cm Depth: 10 cm
