About the Item

Fabergé Angel Fish Figurine – A Symbol of Fortune and Elegance Like a shimmering dream captured in stone, this exquisite Fabergé sculpture depicts a delicate angel fish, masterfully carved from luminous agate. Its eyes, set with fiery ruby inlays, seem almost alive, whispering tales of mystery and fortune. Resting gracefully on a polished jade platform—symbolizing harmony and prosperity—it is elegantly cradled by a gilt sterling silver base. The underside bears the prestigious markings "FABERGÉ" and "925", a testament to its timeless artistry. The last photograph features a pair of angelfish created in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917 by the Fabergé master Feodor Afanassiev. Notably, one of the identical fish was sold at a prominent auction in 2022 for over $20,000. Circa: 20th Century Origin: England Dimensions: Height: 3.75", Width: 1.5", Length: 2.75" Weight: 97g Condition: The platform exhibits minor wear, yet the angel fish itself remains in flawless condition, as if untouched by time. Note: The original box is, regrettably, lost. A symbol of luck, transformation, and grace, this rare Fabergé treasure is more than a collectible—it is a story waiting to be told, a poetic whisper from a bygone era. Please note: Authentic Fabergé objects from the late 19th and early 20th centuries were not issued with certificates of authenticity. Authenticity is determined through examination of original maker’s marks and assay marks, materials, craftsmanship, construction techniques, and comparison with published reference examples.

Some of Rappoport’s creations are held in the Kremlin Armory and the Hermitage Museum. His figurines are renowned for their intricate detailing, while Fabergé’s works stand out for their exceptional realism—though the firm was not the first to craft silver animal figures...
