About the Item

This exceptional caviar server, titled “Dance of the Sturgeons,” is a sculptural table object created in the classical Fabergé tradition, combining functional refinement with rich decorative artistry. The composition centers around a large crystal vessel designed to be filled with ice, ensuring optimal temperature for serving caviar. Encircling the crystal bowl, stylized sturgeons flow in a rhythmic, wave-like movement, evoking the elegance of water and the noble symbolism historically associated with this prized fish. Each caviar server is crafted exclusively for the client, with the possibility to tailor certain details to individual preferences. Estimated lead time is approximately 5-7 months from order confirmation. At the heart of the crystal vessel rests a gilded interior bowl, crafted specifically for caviar service. The contrast between transparent crystal and warm gold creates a striking visual balance, while maintaining practical functionality. The upper and lower sections of the piece are unified by stylized seaweed motifs, lending the composition a sense of organic continuity and sculptural harmony. The upper tier is further enriched with classical garland decorations, a hallmark of the Fabergé aesthetic, adding ceremonial elegance and visual depth. The lid is crowned with a finely modeled sturgeon finial, set atop a rosette of stylized seaweed. This detail serves as both a functional handle and an artistic focal point, reinforcing the marine theme and elevating the object to a collectible work of decorative art. This caviar server is conceived not only as a functional serving piece, but as a centerpiece for a luxury table, a conversation object, and a tribute to imperial-era craftsmanship and symbolism. Diameter of inner gilded caviar bowl: 10 cm Diameter of crystal vessel: 22 cm Overall height: 30 cm Worldwide shipping and full insurance are included at no additional cost. The chess set is transported in a custom-built, museum-grade wooden crate, engineered to ensure absolute protection during international transit. Each shipment includes professional internal supports, shock protection, and secure packing designed specifically for high-value art objects.
