THIS IS A SUPERB ANTIQUE BERGMAN AUSTRIAN VIENNA BRONZE OF A GREEN PARROT OR LOVEBIRD.
This wonderful antique Austrian Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze) Green Parrot or Lovebird is so charming with its green, yellow and red feathers. The bronze is of the highest quality of Vienna Bronzes with superb modeling and expression and with the mark of the Bergman foundry of the B in an urn.
The bronze depicts the most wonderful parrot in a perky adorable pose! The expression on the bird's face is so full of life and the details on the feathers is exquisite. The bronze is hand painted in the cold painted bronze technique. This is such a delightful piece.
The bronze is 2 1/2 inches tall and is 3 inches wide.
The bronze has the Bergman hallmark of a B in an urn.
The bronze is solid.
