From our extensive Jade collection, here is another one to add to someones important collection. This piece was carved at least 50 years ago! This jade decoration is certified natural without treatments or enhancements. It is a superb piece of jade carving. The color play and contrast is fantastic. This master carver cleverly incorporated the jade skin into the carving. When the master carver first acquire a piece of jade rough, he has no idea what colors are inside. Once you carve into it, you will have to improvise as you go. The results as you can see is exceptional. The title says it all. This carving is of a beautiful home town. The carving depicts a home (house) in a scenic area filled with lush green trees. There is a mountain in the background. You can also see a farmer riding an Ox. Even the back of the decoration is carved with lush greens and trees!
Jadeite comes in many different colors and green has the highest demand. In this piece are many different colors of jade, but a big part of it is green. This green really makes it "pop". This beautiful apple green and imperial green combined with excellent translucency is what makes this unbelievable. It is a great piece for investors and connoisseurs looking to collect world class Jade. This will be the center piece of any Jade collection. This natural Jade carvings weighs around 1.91KG. The base is made of wood and by itself is a beautiful piece of art. Together with the wood base the total weight of the carving is 2.89KG.
