About the Item

This delightful vintage miniature porcelain figurine Royal Doulton “Babie,” HN 1679, decorated in a light green and blue colorway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine and was issued from 1935 to 1992. The size of the figurine is approx. 12cm tall (4 ¾ inches). The figurine is in excellent condition without chips or cracks. Since the early 20th Century, Doulton has been producing figurines, first at Lambeth and then, subsequently, at Burslem. Many of these earlier pieces are now extremely difficult to find and are, accordingly, highly valued by collectors. This is a truly sweet figurine. The figurine would make a wonderful gift for your loved ones or a perfect addition to your collection.
