A beautiful and sober desk clock, created in Paris France by the the house of Cartier during the late art deco period, back in the early 1935. This desk clock is very rare and has been designed with geometric art deco patterns and assembled from several polished pieces carved from natural black onyx and reddish translucent agate. All parts mounted in gilded bronze and sterling silver settings of .935/.999.

A fine vintage 18 karat yellow gold brooch in the form of a poodle; part of our vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine 18k yellow gold brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a poodle.
The poodle is further embellished with inset ruby eyes and a broad collar with link chain.
The poodle is secured to the reverse with a bar pin and safety catch.
The hallmarks struck to the underside of the poodle's body include the 18k fineness mark (18) (.750) and the London Import Hallmarks.

This charming set of 'The Four Seasons' dates to the late 1960s and was manufactured in Milan, Italy. The set which retain their original fitted box comprise of a small square plinth encased with slices of malachite atop of which sit a figure, each representing one of the four 'seasons'. The figures along with a gilt foot-rim are crafted from 800 purity silver (800 out of 1000 parts pure silver) and are parcel gilt in areas and purposefully oxidised in others. The figures to the underside are stamped for their metal purity, along with an Italian hallmark allowing us to know they were crafted in Italy by a maker called 'Luigi Cervone'. This particular mark for Cervone was only used from 1968 up until his retirement in 1970, allowing us to date the set to between 1968 and 1970. The four are in exceptionally good condition, retain their box and appear to have been virtually never displayed. The quality of the malachite slices...
