About the Item
This badge is a Soviet higher-education graduation badge,
commonly awarded to graduates of civilian institutes or universities in the USSR,
particularly in technical, pedagogical, or scientific fields.
The diamond shape is traditional for Soviet academic insignia,
while the golden state emblem (hammer and sickle within a wreath)
signifies official state recognition and loyalty to the Soviet system.
