About the Item
This elegant scarf clip is a fine example of modernistic tendencies in Victorian jewellery design which started to devellop from 1875 ca. This little jewel was created in 1880 ca out of 15 karat gold. Designed as a tiny belt it has a turquoise cabochon immitating a fastener. On the inside a metal spring is fixed onto the back half of the clip. The clip opens and closes with the tenion created by the metal spring mecanism.
