An Edwardian diamond-set tiara/necklace, in the form of a fringe consisting of nineteen knife-edge bars embellished with single diamond collets and diamond-set foliate motifs, the base set with nine diamond-set flower clusters each connected with three single diamond-set collets in-between, the old European and rose-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 3½ carats in total, all millegrain-set in silver to yellow gold mount, attached to a nickel-silver frame, and accompanied by detachable diamond-set back section of floral and foliate design, the diamonds estimated to weigh approximately a further total of a ½ carat, circa 1900, measuring 13.2 x 3.3cm, gross weight 41 grams.
This antique tiara/necklace is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as silver and 15ct gold.

Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. The exquisite tiara features a delicate fringe adorned with nineteen knife-edge bars, each adorned with a single diamond collet and intricate diamond-set foliate motifs. Its base is adorned with beautiful diamond-set flower clusters, linked by three single diamond-set collets between each cluster. Crafted with meticulous detail, the tiara is millegrain-set in a transition from silver to yellow gold mount. Additionally, it comes with a detachable diamond-set back section featuring a floral and foliate design, seamlessly transforming into a necklace. Dating back to circa 1900, this graceful and sophisticated tiara would be a splendid addition to any collection.
