About the Item
Edwardian pave rose diamond lorgnette completely covered in stones and set in platinum.
Pulling down the central floret station in the middle of the handle releases the lenses with a spring. The frames surrounding the lenses and bridge are also completely paved in tiny rose diamonds. Basket and flower motifs mixed with a stylized fleur de lis motif popular in the Edwardian period.
Exceptional quality. Circa 1900's.
