About the Item
La Belle Epoque Antique 18k yellow gold and platinum vanity case, with seed pearl, mother of pearl, diamond, onyx, and black enamel accents.
The lid of this compact case is inlaid with mother of pearl, decorsated with carefully weaved through seed pearls. Back of the case consists of black onyx plate, with corners acccented with 4 bezel set single cut diamonds. Sides of the frame covered with black enamel, adorned with two bezel set single cut diamonds on the back. Inside features built in gold powder case, removable lipstick and brush (brush is missing) and hinged mirror. Back of the mirror inlaid with mother of pearl, equipped with mechanical pencil.
Inscribed: 55897, MD, 19664. Stamped with french hallmarks (eagle head), and makers marks. Measurements: 90mm by 60mm.
