About the Item
Nice Puuko type hunting knife hand - made by finish knife- maker Alpo Kempanen a couple of decades ago. Sheath and handle with integrated carved panels of Birch root wood. Opening of the sheath with mounted carved bone ring. Parts of the sheath, chains, hanger, and parts of the handle - in solid 925 Silver. The blade is made of high-grade carbon Steel. Silver hanger with delicate hand-engraved decor of a flower. The sheath is hallmarked 925, blade with initials AK and unknown Initials /hallmarks on the other side. Secure positioning of the knife inside the sheath. The knife can be positioned in a loose /easy-to-withdraw position or if pressed in - will make a click and require effort to be unsheathed. Original wool and leather bag. This knife is custom-made and one of a kind.
Measures 20 cm long sheathed. The knife is 17.5 cm long, iron blade is 7.8 cm long x 15 mm at the widest.
Fine like new condition. Small dent on a part of a hanger. Natural Patina on Silver.
