About the Item

A fine and impressive antique 2.00 carat white opal and 0.16 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold five stone ring; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive five stone ring has been crafted in 18 karat yellow gold. The pierced decorated frame is ornamented with five claw set cabochon cut white opals, totalling 2cts, in a graduating linear design. The main setting is further embellished with eight pavé set mine cut diamonds, set in sequence with the main gemstones. The pierced decorated shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. This stunning dress ring is hallmarked with the maker's mark, the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18k gold mark (18), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter for 1905 (f). This impressive opal ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. Such examples with full deeply struck hallmarks and interspersed opals are becoming increasingly difficult to locate and indicate the high quality of the ring. This five stone opal ring in gold is a refined gift for anniversaries, October birthdays, or romantic occasions, appealing to those who admire the opal’s enchanting play of color. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This antique gold opal ring is excellent quality, set with impressive opals displaying a scintillating play of color and presence. The diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition. The hallmarks to the interior of the shank are all clear, apart from the maker's mark; this indicates the piece has seen little use and careful wear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this stunning antique opal jewelry. Antique Edwardian 18K Yellow Gold 1.91tgw Opal and Old Cut Diamond 7 Stone Ring
Located in Staines-Upon-Thames, GB
An antique opal, diamond, and yellow gold ring, comprising one round cabochon opal, two oval cabochon opals, and four old cut diamonds, in 18 karat yellow gold. My favourite thing about this Antique 18K Yellow Gold Opal and Diamond Ring, is the pastel play of colour in the opals. What’s yours? Perhaps the sparkling diamonds? Or the elegant gallery? This Edwardian ring is set to the centre with a large, round cabochon opal. The opal exhibits a pastel hued play of colour, with blues, greens, oranges and yellows. The central opal is flanked by 2 pairs of old cut diamonds. The diamonds are perfectly chunky, and are bright, white, sparkly and well-matched with one another. The ring is complete with a pair of oval opal cabochons, which are well-matched with the central opal. The stones are raised on an elegantly carved gallery, quite unusual in shape, reminding me somewhat of Poseidon’s trident...
