A rare and sentimental Victorian ring from 1860–1870, featuring exquisitely crafted hairwork pansies preserved beneath a domed glass panel. The delicate floral motif—symbolizing remembrance and “thinking of you”—is beautifully rendered in woven hair, a cherished art form of high-Victorian memorial and sentimental jewelry.
The 18k gold band is adorned with an intricate woven plait and engraved with the initials “ILR,” adding personal history and emotional resonance to this already meaningful piece.
The ring’s face measures approximately 0.3 inches from north to south and is a size 9.25 (not resizable due to its construction).
