An antique hairwork and gold ring, comprising brunette hairwork, set in a 15 karat yellow gold band.
This unusual ring is adorned with beautiful floral and foliate chasing around the band. Openwork panels are evenly spaced around the band, revealing the plaited brunette hairwork within the band. The wide, domed band is the same width all the way around the ring. At the front of the ring, is a monogrammed plaque, with elegantly engraved initials “JLS”. The ring is in excellent condition, with the hairwork fully intact. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The band measures 5.5mm wide.
