Art deco platinum ring with diamonds and sapphires.
This is a very nice band ring, created in America during the art deco period, back in the 1935. This beautiful ring is a classic and was crafted with geometrics shapes in solid platinum with high polished finish. The ring is mount with a great selection of thirty-five natural earth mined gemstones, such European white diamonds and French cut blue sapphires. The settings of the gemstones are finished with the iconic and stunning millegrain patterns. The ring is fantastic, extremely well made and the main diamond is clean, well cut and with good proportions. The sapphires were specially cut for this ring and are completely aligned with no gaps in between.
Diamond: Mount in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 European round cut diamond of 0.28 carats, white colorless F/G color, very clean VS/SI clarity.
Diamonds: Mount at the sides in flush settings, with 8 European round cut diamonds, 0.24 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Sapphires: Mount around in channel settings, with 26 French calibre scissor cut of natural royal blue sapphires, with a total weight of about 1.06 carats.
Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September.
Weight: 5.60 Grams, (3.60 Dwt).
Size: 7.25 and may be easily sized on request.
Measurements: 21 mm by 12 mm (0.83 x 0.47 Inches) and raise 5.5 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Electronically tested for platinum, stamped with the mark for the platinum, engraved with the weight of the center diamond and signed as follow, "PLAT 0.28 CT".
Millegrain
This is a jewelry technique which refers to the textural effect of a close-set line of metal beads that are typically used as a border on the edges or bezels of jewelry.
Collateral: This ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the platinum. The 35 gemstones are secured in their settings. This ring has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
