18K extremely rare Victorian five stone Columbian emerald half hoop ring. Five stone rings were popular during the Victorian period and the design was particularly beloved, with its emphasis on the gemstones and hand crafted gold band. The ring is set "a jour", or "open to the day", so it can be worn everyday. The stones are polished and clear.
The details of this ring are noteworthy, with the fleur de lis linking the band at each side to the five stone portion of the ring and the curlicues and ornamental gold balls along the edges of the gold border.
The ring measures US 7 and re-sizeable.
