About the Item
I love the proportion of this Gold and enamel Georgian urn ring. I previously sold a larger octagonal version and this proportion attracts me even more. Can you image this is a memorial ring honoring Katherine Whitby who died in 1803 at 72 years of age: What life she saw! She was born in 1731 ! The ring is English made in 10Kt gold and is in excellent condition. See it paired with my Stuart Crystal memorial ring. This is what Antique jewelry is about for me. It is touching having belonged to a family for personal reasons, having a loved one who passed, and connecting us to someone who lived in times before. This ring is dated 1803.
