About the Item
This ring was carved from a single piece of certified natural and untreated black nephrite jade. The gleaming grand piano polish creates a circle white light all the way around the band. Dirty little secret: the vast majority of black jade has been dyed to such an extent that gem lab equipment is often unable to tell whether the piece has been artificially dyed or not. But this black jade ring is 100% natural and certified undyed. Black nephrite is, in fact, very dark green. So if you shine a bright light through the band, you'll see this deep green. Turn the light off, it's completely black once more.
This sleek, slender ring ring is a size 9 and cannot be resized larger. However, your jeweler could create an interior liner of silver, gold, platinum or the metal of your choice to make the ring somewhat smaller, should you desire. The ring is 5.32mm thick.
This beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind ring ships with a certificate from Stone Group Labs stating that the jade is natural and untreated black nephrite jade.
