Nodo Textured Ring in Bronze by Lo Studiolo Genève
Unique Piece
Dimensions: Band width 9 mm.
Materials: Bronze.
Textured ring featuring a knot motif, 9 mm thick. Crafted using the lost-wax casting technique, designed to be worn individually or stacked.
This piece is fully customizable and can be handcrafted in Bronze, 925 Silver, Black Patinated 925 Silver, Gold, Platinum. As each item is made-to-measure, it is available in all ring sizes. Please note that pricing depends on the selected metal; we invite you to contact us for a custom quote.
Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin and is naturally nickel-free. Like silver, bronze is a “living” material: over time, it develops a patina due to natural oxidation. Factors such as humidity, water, and skin pH can accelerate this process. In some rare cases, an acidic skin pH can cause, especially in rings, a slight oxidation that may leave a greenish patina after a few hours in contact with the skin. This reaction disappears by washing the affected area and is neither harmful nor toxic; it does not constitute an allergic reaction.
Lo Studiolo’s jewelry collection showcases unique, handcrafted creations realized through traditional goldsmithing techniques. Each piece is conceived and modeled as if it was a sculpture. The use of investment and lost-wax casting ensures that every item is truly one of a kind.
Upon request, we can reproduce a sold-out design or customize one of our existing pieces according to your preferred size, metal, and gemstones. Each new creation will naturally differ from the original, reflecting the individuality inherent in handmade craftsmanship.
The creations of Lo Studiolo are the result of the curiosity and creativity of Paolo Smeriglio.
Paolo studies, designs and produces his jewels independently, giving life to unique creations made with traditional jewellery techniques. Paolo, who has always been fascinated by the plastic arts, studied art history between Rome and Paris, after significant experiences in the retail sector for important brands in the decoration and luxury sector, he turned to the goldsmith’s art, creating in the 2020 the brand Lo Studiolo Genève.
