A fine signed Mid-Century Modern cigar band ring.
In mixed metals.
With a sterling silver base and thick band of 14k yellow gold on top.
By Paul Lobel. Lobel was a Romanian-born and New York based jeweler, designer, illustrator who was an influential Modernist and beloved figure in the Greenwich Village art community throughout the mid-20th Century. His jewelry often avoids gemstone embellishment and embraces a stark simplicity influenced by his background in industrial design.
With an engraved wavy line around the circumference.
Marked to the shank.
