Favored as a wedding band choice in the last two years, this elegant, classic Victorian cigar band style ring comes to us from Australia c. 1895. The gold is 15 kt with a slight rose tint. The ring is silky and smooth. It melts on the finger. This band was made by Johnson
Simonsen a leading and esteemed manufacturer of Australian Victorian jewelry. It is a wide 1.0 cm thick, strong band in excellent condition shows little use. The hallmark is well defined imprinted with a compass and square for Johnson
Simonsen and 15 for 15kt gold. US size 7 1/2 but due to the 17.9 mm diameter it fits size 6 5 gm weight. The ring is sizable
