About the Item
This sentimental diamond ring was created in the 18th century. Five old cut diamond roses are mounted in silver onto a gold ring engraved at the back. Each diamond is engraved on its reverse with a pansy. The ring was most certainly a love token.
The ring shoulders and the shank show openwork leaf design that is in its style and quality of workmanship typical for the third quarter of the 18th century.
