Geometric Bezel bridal fashion ring is a one-of-a-kind 21k gold ring set with natural blue zircons and green demantoid garnets. All are of different shapes and beautiful colors. Both varieties of stones are similar to diamonds in the way they reflect and break down the light. It is like looking into small pools of water. The inspiration for this ring comes from the spirit of experimentation of the Modern art and ancient techniques of manual jewelry making, such as granulation, fusing, and metal forming. These techniques were introduced by pre-Classical Sumerian, Mycenaean and Minoan cultures and built upon during Greek Classical and Hellenistic periods when naturalistic forms were introduced. AB Jewelry designs are influenced by the skill and the laborious attention to detail paid by the artisans throughout thousands of years of jewelry design. While inspired by history and art, this ring is created for a modern woman. It makes a stylish statement without being over-the-top. This stunning ring can stand on its own or, for more oomph, combines beautifully with our Baby Breath bezel ring found in this store (pictured). Custom order. When ordering please state your ring size. ---22k and 21k gold - approx 6g *** I always start with pure 24k gold. By mixing it with fine silver and copper, I bring it down to 21K concentration. 21K gold provides more durability than 22K but does not take away from a luscious 22K color. ---demantoid garnets, approx 2 carats *** These green garnets are unusual and rare. Due to their high refractive index, they reflect the light similarly to diamonds. Historically they had only been mined in the Ural mountains of Russia until recently when a new mine was discovered in Africa. In 18-19cc demantoid garnets were frequently used in jewelry for European nobility by Carl Faberge and loose stones are popular with collectors. ---natural zircons, approx 3.5 carats ***Natural zircon is a great favorite of a gem of dealers and collectors because of its excellent brilliance, luster, and fire. However, it is not well known in the commercial jewelry business, and consumers are apt to confuse it with cubic zirconium, a cheap synthetic diamond simulant. Due to the handmade nature of this item, the ring you receive may be slightly different than the one pictured. Material weights are approximate. The price is for the Geometric ring only.
