Ring in 18 karat white gold, eagle head hallmark and platinum, dog's head hallmark.
An authentic antique ring with soft, geometric lines, set with rose-cut diamonds. In the center, a brilliant-cut antique diamond is held in claws and the basket is openwork.
Weight of the central diamond : 0.15 carat approximately.
Height : 14.2 mm approximately, width : 12.4 mm approximately, thickness : 4.8 mm approximately, width of the ring at the base : 1.5 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 2,2 g approximately.

French Art Deco Platinum Ring with Old Cut Diamonds

This rather beautiful Art Deco ring was made in France likely in the 1930s and features Old European cut and rose cut diamonds all set in a handmade platinum mount. The central diamond in the ring is a millegrain set Old European cut stone of G colour and VS clarity weighing an approximate 0.70 carat. Flanking this central stone are two further Old European cut diamonds which each weigh 0.15 carat and are each of G colour and SI clarity. The balance of the diamonds in the ring are rose cut stones which are each of G colour and SI clarity, and combined with the three larger stones have a weight of 1.14 carat. The back of the rear of the shank is hallmarked with a French platinum purity mark and a rubbed, unidentified makers mark.
