About the Item
A fine and impressive vintage 1.25 carat natural blue sapphire and 1.15 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold cocktail ring; part of our vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This impressive vintage sapphire and diamond cocktail ring has been crafted in 18k white gold.
The pierced decorated boat style frame displays a central 1.25Ct oval mixed natural blue sapphire four claw / prong set in relief to the center of the design, encircled by twelve modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The outer ring of eighteen individually set baguette cut diamonds creates a sunburst design, similar to that used in Art Deco style pieces.
The 18k white gold hallmarked shank has a layered design which flares and divides at the shoulders.
The elevated central strand emanating from the shank integrates from the interior into the pierced decorated setting, with the two outer strands discreetly supporting the mount from the underside.
This sapphire and diamond cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This vintage cocktail ring is fine quality, set with an impressive natural blue sapphire and very high color graded, very high clarity graded diamonds. The sapphire ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a clear 18k gold mark struck to the inner shank.
