Beautiful Halo Ring in solid 18K Yellow Gold with natural Cornflower Blue Sapphire and 14 Diamonds in White Gold / or Platinum settings. A bit fragmented Swedish hallmarks, 18K, crowned head (Stockholm). Maker is G.H.Sandqvist. Year combination (fragmented because of sizing done in the past ) B8 / hand - made in 1928. Floret/ crown measures 13 mm x 10.5 mm x 5.6 mm deep. Sapphire oval diamond cut measures 9 mm x 7 mm x 3.9 mm deep / ca. 2.3 ct. Color is Cornflower / light Blue, very likely of Ceylon origin. Demonstrates minor inclusions, color zoning and halos typical for untreated naturals. Fourteen Diamonds of old European cut Ø 2 mm / 0,04 ct each, total weight of diamonds here ca. 0.56 ctw. Color ca. F,G /VS All stones have open backs. Used finest condition. Sapphire with very minor wear to facets. Size: Ø 6.25 US / Ø 16.71 mm. Can be sized.
