About the Item
A fine and impressive vintage 0.86 carat diamond and 14 karat yellow gold, platinum set vintage cocktail ring; part of our diverse diamond jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive vintage diamond cocktail ring has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The geometric pierced decorated design displays a feature bezel set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond to the center of the arrangement.
Emanating from the feature diamond are two sets of three flared arms, each embellished with three pavé set eight-cut diamonds.
The angular arms are set in relief above a curved border embellished with a further eight pavé set eight-cut diamonds.
The distinctive elevated, curved and pierced decorated ring shoulders are accented at the junction with the hallmarked ring shank with a subtle grooved cuff design.
The plain ring shanks is very clearly hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 14k gold fineness mark 585, and the substantial setting has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
This impressive original 1950s cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to a diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Condition
This vintage diamond cocktail ring is fine quality, set with very high color graded and very high clarity graded old cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a very clear hallmark to the interior of the ring shank.
