About the Item
While the exact decade uknown, it is believed ballerina rings appeared in mid 1930s during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Major jewelers like Tiffany
Co., Oscar Heyman Brothers and Boucheron have used the design in their own products over the years.
This masterpiece was created around 1950s and is an exceptional example of a ballerina setting of 18K yellow gold. The center of the composition is a flamboyant emerald of 9.20 carats. It is surrounded by 40 classic tapered baguette diamonds of approximately 3.20 carats.
When a simple halo is just not enough, one should definitely give a chance to a ballerina setting for added sparkle instead. Its unique style, with diamonds flowing outward from a center stone is a beautiful reflection of the graceful, undulating motion.
