A stunning, fine and impressive antique Art Deco 2.48 carat diamond cocktail ring in platinum; part of our diverse jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive antique cocktail ring has been crafted in platinum.
The rectangular shaped pierced decorated setting features a collet set 0.35ct Old European diamond to the centre.
The stunning diamond is flanked on either side with a total of four pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
The centre of the ring displays a vertical linear arrangement of four pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
Each corner of the rectangular arrangement features two pavé set square cut diamonds, completing the Art Deco design.
The pierced decorated elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend smoothly with the plain platinum shank.
The interior of the ring shank is hallmarked with a platinum fineness mark (PLAT).
This platinum diamond ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Condition
This antique Art Deco ring is excellent quality, set with a stunning feature diamond displaying a fine white colour, brilliance and presence.
The impressive supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.
The diamond ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, with a clear hallmark to the interior of the shank.

French Art Deco Platinum Ring with Old Cut Diamonds

This rather beautiful Art Deco ring was made in France likely in the 1930s and features Old European cut and rose cut diamonds all set in a handmade platinum mount. The central diamond in the ring is a millegrain set Old European cut stone of G colour and VS clarity weighing an approximate 0.70 carat. Flanking this central stone are two further Old European cut diamonds which each weigh 0.15 carat and are each of G colour and SI clarity. The balance of the diamonds in the ring are rose cut stones which are each of G colour and SI clarity, and combined with the three larger stones have a weight of 1.14 carat. The back of the rear of the shank is hallmarked with a French platinum purity mark and a rubbed, unidentified makers mark.
