We are delighted to offer this enchanting antique Georgian 14ct gold citrine ring made c.1800. The ring presents a lovely cluster design with the most wonderful faceted citrine in the centre surrounded by bright white seed pearls. The central citrine is of a lovely honey glaze/champagne yellow hue which exudes an elegant and regal tone. The foil backed setting, commonly found in Georgian period jewellery, enhances its overall vividness and reflective nature. Such a design allows for the ring to glisten and reflect the light in all angles no matter where it is viewed from. This piece is unmarked as is common with small gold articles of this period and as such we have tested it, indicating 14ct gold content. Owing to its elegant yet modest two tone design, it could be worn with a variety of accessories whether be it for wearing as a contrasting piece of jewellery among other pieces or as a highlighting single ring, such a piece is bound to be a conversation starter and a wonderful manner to express your passion for fine jewellery and antiques.
