1900s Antique European-made GIA 5.20ctw Old European Ceylon Sapphire
Diamond Cluster Blossom Flower 18K White Gold Ring.
This ring is so bright and lively that it's difficult to keep your eyes off of it, even in the dark! By daylight, by moonlight, even by candlelight this ring is the essence of early Edwardian Romance.
A supreme and stunning, European-made sparkler of early-twentieth century Flower Blossom shaped, Cluster Ring artfully hand crafted in 18K White Gold (stamped 750) setting, featuring a Gorgeous gem: a richly saturated deep Blue faceted Old European-cut Sapphire, weighing approx. 2.0 carat, measuring 7.75x7.35x3.30mm, bearing a recent GIA Certificate stating: Natural Sapphire, Clear with no obviously visible imperfections and minor treatment such as heating, common for most corundum, all indicated on the GIA report . Sri Lanka (Ceylon) Origin.
Mesmerizing like the deep blue ocean, the stunning Sapphire radiates from an almost equally stunning, traditional 1900s style Blossom Ring.
It is framed with 9 twinkling OLD European Diamonds outlined with a scalloped border, estimated total weight is 3.20ctw, H-I color, SI clarity overall . Unusually high quality for this period.
The total weight of the gemstones is approx. 5.20cttw.
The ring is 17.40mm in Diameter-IMPRESSIVE!
This Amazing Cluster can be worn as an Engagement ring or as a right hand ring!
Beautiful detailing, cathedral-shaped shoulders . The width of the band tappers from 2.54mm to 2.96mm on the bottom and the 6.80mm height.

Finger size is 8 3/4, easy to re-size, the weight is 5.65 grams.

The ring is in very good antique condition. Overall light wear commensurate with age and use. All diamonds are present and appear original, the center sapphire is in good condition with light wear on the top.. Very little wear to the setting in the form of minor abrasions and knicks to the metals, no apparent sign of repair to the mount. The ring has being polished.
