About the Item
Old mine diamond and emerald ring. Set with one central cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.01 carats, set into a vertical oval bezel set with fourteen tapered baguette cut natural emeralds with no colour enhancement in open back rubover channel settings with an approximate total weight of 2.00 carats, further encircled by a single row of thirty two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats and additionally set with six round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.57 carats, to an oval cluster above an openwork scalloped gallery, with pierced backholing, the raised shoulders flowing through to a square shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920. UK size K, US size 5 1/4.
