An Art Deco emerald and diamond plaque ring attributed to Janesich, the emerald-cut emerald estimated to weigh 1.8 carats, accompanied by GCS laboratory report, stating to be of Colombian origin, with minor enhancement, rubover-set in yellow gold to the centre of an openwork geometric rectangular plaque millegrain-set with rose-cut diamonds, all to split diamond-set shoulders and a grooved shank, the diamonds estimated to weigh 0.30 carats in total, mounted in platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by fitted box by Janesich, Paris, gross weight 7.05 grams.

This ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum and 18ct gold.
This sophisticated Art Deco ring comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. It features a gorgeous, deep green emerald set in an elaborate geometric frame of diamonds forming a Greek key pattern. The diamonds glitter wonderfully, and their sculptural mount provides a gorgeous complement to the emerald. This piece is attributed to the jeweller Janesich, which produced spectacular jewellery during the Art Deco period.
