About the Item
An Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring, the oval-shaped cabochon-cut sapphire measuring 8.5 x 7.9mm and estimated to weigh approximately 3 ¾ carats, rubover set to the centre of an oval diamond-set plaque, the old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 1.3 carats in total, pave-set in platinum mount, with hand-pierced gallery and engrave side decorations, to split shoulders each set with four small diamond graduating in size, to a D-section shank, circa 1920, measuring 1.9 x 2.4cm, finger size K, gross weight 5.2 grams.
This antique ring is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as platinum.
